Cash Pay
The standard fee for individuals is $150 is paid out following our session through an on-file card.
If I currently do not accept your insurance, you can also receive a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if offered. Reimbursement eligibility should be discussed with your insurance company, as not every company has this option.
I recommend that all clients contact their insurance companies to inquire about the reimbursement process for mental health services before beginning therapy.
If you choose to submit a claim to your insurance for out-of-network services, please note that The Layers of Me Therapy, PLLC, does not assume any responsibility for managing that claim or for the reimbursement decisions made by your insurance company. The handling of these claims is solely between you and your insurance provider.
Sliding Scale
I also understand that everyone’s financial situation is different, and I will have a limited number of sliding-scale openings via Open Path Collective.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about insurance, payments, or if you’d like to discuss sliding scale options. I’m here to help and make this process as smooth as possible!
Good Faith Estimate
I believe that therapy should be clear and transparent, not confusing. If you don’t have insurance or choose not to use it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that explains the expected cost of your care. You will receive this estimate in writing prior to your first session, and you can request an updated copy at any time. This ensures that you can plan ahead and prevent any surprises as we move forward together.
Under the No Surprises Act, if you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
